Intel Outside -- Way Outside

Intel is building a $2.5 billion -- “billion” with a “b” -- factory in Los Angeles.
Wouldn’t that be a nice headline to read? It would, but you already know enough about L.A. to know that, under the current regime, neither Intel nor any other corporation would build a $2.5 billion factory here. Intel’s actually building the factory in China.
Our city is far too hostile to businesses for them ever to pour that kind of money into our community. We need a mayor who understands economics and the real world. If we want good jobs here, we need to repeal the city’s business income tax and stop trying to set wages and prices.
