What Passes For Leadership In Los Angeles
By Walter Moore, Candidate for Mayor of Los Angeles, WalterMooreForMayor.com

One of the murder victims, as you know, was Jamiel Shaw, II. When I heard what happened to him, I drafted Jamiel’s Law. By contrast, when City Council Member Bernard Parks heard about it, he walked out of the Council Chambers to avoid having to look at or listen to the Shaw family while they pleaded their case for Jamiel’s Law.
This weekend, I got a call from Parks, and he made it crystal clear how much he cares about the Shaws, illegal aliens in gangs, and protecting your family: not at all.
Instead, he’s focusing on something really important: stamps. Parks left a message to let me know that the price of stamps has gone up, and, since he’s providing valuable information like this, how about voting for him for County Supervisor? Meanwhile, Hahn is tackling the rooster problem, and Zine is working to protect celebrities from photographers.
Villaraigosa, Parks, Zine, Hahn, Reyes, Smith, Garcetti, Weiss, Grueul, LaBonge, Cardenas, Alarcon, Wesson, Perry, Rosendahl and Huizar are worse than an embarrassment to our City. They are costing us lives by failing to prevent murders that are entirely preventable. They are ruining our quality of life.
If you do not want to move away from this City, and you do not want it to continue to decline, then you need to take action: contribute to my campaign today so I can buy the advertising I need to reach voters who don’t follow the issues as closely as you do. People have already contributed over $95,000. Let’s boost that number to $100,000 before June 1, 2008.
Raising that money will send a message to City Hall by special delivery: start doing your job, or find a new one.
