Well I have started my new train layout. I am going to free lance a rail system from the Eastern side of the rockies in Alberta. My layout will include prairie, rockies, forest, and some of the industry here, in present day.

CN will be the freight of choice, but I’ll add some CP rail as well to help with the feel of the Yellowhead pass that I’m going to get some of my ideas from.

I will have a passenger service by VIA rail, but I’m going to try a vintage type trip on this one, I will have newer passenger cars, but a steamer pulling them that looks freshly overhauled for this priceless trip across the rockies.
