During the week of November 14th, 2006

the Season of Peace was held @ Cal State Northridge.

Over 400 crosses were hand made and decorated by youth and their mentors from 4 different afer-school programs in the San Fernando Valley.  

The crosses were made to commemorate people killed by gang violence, drugs and alcohol, and the women brutally murdered on the El Paso, Texas border.
