Keep watching this turtle...
One of the loggerhead turtles that we have been tracking has made steady progress across the ocean as of late. Like loggerhead turtles we’ve tracked before her (Adelita, Yamilet and Zapata) this turtle in swimming in a relatively straight line towards Japan, its natal beach. Whether the turtle makes it home and whether our transmitter’s battery lasts remain to be seen. As for now, we’ll keep an eye out and continue to work to make the oceans safer for these animals.
