Poem: Japan Train I

Japan Train I

You know, I haven’t fallen
in love with you.

Alas, your stop is Higashi
and mine, Kansai.

And we have yet to
speak.

But my unanswered questions
for you are few:

Is that black wool coat
your favorite?

Will you ride your bicycle home
in this rain?

Did you notice me drinking
green tea?

Good bye, sweet one
(or should I say, sayonara).
