Air Nautique Championships
Several Oxford riders attended the Air Nautique Championships at Liquid Leisure. Chris Chater Won his group and new Ski Boat Zone rider Julia Haley came 4th in the Pro Womens.
Even with the weather not playing its part on the day, the riders still turned up and gave it their all. Chris Chater had a stand up run to take the Masters Title and Julia Haley was to do battle with the UK’s best international females and still come out 4th.
Matt Simpson had perfect runs in the qualifying rounds only to fall in his final run, making him narrowly miss out on a top spot in open mens.
Overall a great turn out for the local Oxford riders and if there was a podium for best team results, would probably have come away with something for the mantle piece. . .
