Welcome to my Aussie adventures pages. I have nothing but beautiful things to say about mac programs, except that they only underline links and do not permit you to change the text color..so if it’s underlined and you like it, click it. The title above refers to our digs in Mt Martha shire, along the Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne. My husband Matt and I moved here August 2007 and we love living here. My favorite coffeehouse, Follies, has closed down, but cheers to Paul, Christine, and Sophie for being my first friends here. Not missing the whole Dallas business much, but I do miss my friends Anna, MKnoderer, Lizzie, Molly, Chris, Mike, Elaine, and Fliss. Obviously, I miss the fam as well, especially Mom, Dad, Granny, Sis, Brother-in-law, and the greatest nephew and possibly the most intelligent one-year old in the history of human existence. Did I mention he is also really charming? In the photo above, taken upon my arrival, I am in Melbourne, St. Kilda, wearing my St. Kilda gear and showing a peace sign that is up for interpretation. I am now gainfully employed teaching at a Montessori school in Frankston and working at a body building gym in Seaford (I earned my personal training creds. during my non-visa-holding days). I hope this site will be useful to my aforementioned friends and family to keep up with what’s going on down here and I hope that any and all friends, known to me or not, blog the hell out of this site and keep in touch.
