Here’s a gallery of some of my latest pictures. This selection is taken from two visits to Martin Down I made in late July 2008. The wet start to summer had helped nourish a wonderful display of meadow flowers. These in turn were providing food for a stunning array of butterflies and other species. My favourites were the Silver-washed and Dark Green Fritillaries. I was pleased to be able to capture dozens of shots of both species as they can often be very flighty and elusive.
