“Ram Of God”
Battle weary, I surrender
To the will of God
All my efforts have been in vain.
The more I tried
To achieve my goals
The farther away
They seemed to get.
My defenses have been
taken from me.
Those sharp points
Are rather ragged.
I let go and let God.
I have offered up myself
To the Burning Flame of Love
He has ignited in my heart.
Now I use my strength
To foster tenderness.
I push for what is good and holy.
I scale the heights of contemplation.
I have found the balance
In my own heart.
I AM a Ram of God.
I know the Shepherd’s Voice.
I have answered His Call.
All is as it should be.
I AM at peace
