This digital animation is video composition created from my original acrylic and water color paintings, graphite drawings, dream journals and photography.
Through computer technology, I have redesigned, reconstructed, and superimposed multiple layers of my artwork to flow in a high speed, rhythmic animation accompanied by an original percussion soundtrack created with an electronic synthesizer.

DIGITAL ALCHEMY

This digital animation is a video composition created from over 100 acrylic paintings on canvas, watercolors on paper, graphite drawings, photographs and dream journals.
All of the artwork is scanned or downloaded into a two GHz Intel Core Duo Mac computer.
I transform the images by cropping, layering and altering them in Adobe Photoshop.
Single-frame altered impressions are further layered and animated in Final Cut Pro.
The sound track is an original percussion composition that I created in Garage Band with an electronic synthesizer.
The opening title is designed with LiveType.
