Matlock Live! is a Community Interest Company and as such we ensure that any surplus we generate is ploughed back into community based activities.
Each presentation/workshop/performance put forward for the Summer event will be considered against the following criteria:
1.Does it make a contribution to the aims of Matlock Live
2.Will it add to the diversity of the event in terms of groups and individuals involved and the media used in presentation
3.Will we be able to provide suitable space and facilities necessary to support your presentation
Matlock Live! aims:
•to represent organisations and people from the Matlock area committed to the performing and visual arts.
•to raise the profile of the arts throughout the community
•to inspire the involvement and interest of people of all ages through the provision of workshops, performances, exhibitions and a range of other live events.
Matlock Live provides a focus for the celebration and promotion of artistic endeavour together with the sheer enjoyment of creativity in the community.
