Some images from Ngarrwa Nambucca Young Mums Project

 

Over 2008 we have been working at 2 venues in Nambucca on alternate fridays - Muurrbay language centre near the mish in Bellwood, and uptown in Nambucca Entertainment Centre 10.30-2.30. The project will now transfer to Bowraville and we hope to learn and incorporate more Gumbaynggirr language into our art and get alongside some of the elder women to hear and record their stories.
