My work stems from an interest in landscape, in particular, how we come to know and articulate our rural and urban environments. My practice is research led and involves finding the narratives that can give meaning to our experiences of place. I am interested in the way we conceptualise nature and have used flora and fauna, looking at how they adapt and colonise an area not designated theirs, as a way of highlighting the artificiality of these categories and borders.
