The experience you will have at the 1850 River House is unique among Bed and Breakfasts. You will be our only guest. You have your own private suite consisting of a private porch just perfect for a relaxing afternoon of reading. You have a private entrance allowing you to come and go as you please.

Your suite (3 rooms) consists of a large entry hall leading to your living room with entertainment center (Books, Magazines, Cable TV (DVD/VHS, CD and video library), many comfortable chairs, tables and couch, a spacious bedroom with queen bed, and a large private bath with Jacuzzi tub/shower. A small refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker are also provided for your convenience.

Complimentary beverage service is provided. Arrangements for breakfast normally include a full country breakfast served in your suite or in our country kitchen around a blazing fire in our wood stove. We can also provide a continental breakfast for times when you want to "hit the trail" at an early hour. Arrangements can also be made for special dinners served ensuite. For families or couples traveling together we can also add to your suite another bedroom with 2 twin beds and a half bath located upstairs within your private area.

Our yard has beautiful flower gardens, a wood fired pizza oven and stone wall.
