Aziz Skate Club.........
Is a subsidary of Aziz Art & Creative Productions. At the skate club my goal is to promote
and keep the original skate tradition alive. Skating is a healthy fun sport which has know age
limitations. It brings many people together from all walks of life to a fun social enviroment.
The club caters to novices as well as seasoned skaters. So watch out for our scheduled
events. I also provide skate instructions for anyone who who is interested.....it will make a
difference in your life.....

ROLLER SKATING AT THE CHICAGO SAVOY 1941
The savoy Ballroom was built in Chicago Illinois 1927. The location for the famed Ballroom
was at 4733 South Parkway which is currently now Martin Luther Drive. This was a prominent
place for all the top jazz bands, community meeting, sports and skating parties. It was situated in the heart of the African American Community. Torn down in the early 1970s, it
was replaced by The Lou Rawls Theatre Culture Center.
