Fatina is an extremely talented choreographer, teacher, and performer. She is always learning about the art, combining traditional and newer movements with her own creative innovations.  Her teaching style is based upon having fun, learning the dance, and highlighting the wonderful fitness benefits. Her students gain confidence, strengthen their bodies and have access to performance opportunities if they choose.

   

Fatina’s dedication to the art of Middle Eastern Dance and to her students is tremendous. She loves keeping this dance fun and always brings her audience into her dance through expression, energy, and an amazing smile.  Students benefit from her network of vibrant dancer ensembles, top notch workshops, and a growing number of performance venues.

 

Fatina’s dance troupes have a reputation for filling the house, and thrilling their audiences with ancient rhythms, flaming color, and bold, seductive beauty in motion.

 

Currently the majority of Fatina’s time is taken up with her studies at the University of Georgia’s, College of Veterinary Medicine in Athens.  She is currently in the last two years of her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine program.   When she is not studying, she can be found dancing or working on her SFP belly dance projects.  Whenever possible she brings her two passions together with benefit shows, giving proceeds to various animal/human medicine related foundations .  She is strongly committed to both the arts and science in her life and the never ending battle of finding the balance between them!
