Here’s a cool way to hide your email address from Would-Be-Spammers, but still keep it visible on your website.
First, in your iWeb page, type something like EMAILGOESHERE wherever you want your email link to go. Publish your page.
Now, we need to visit two helpful websites to make this work.
First, go to http://www.emailicon.org, where you can make an image of your email address. They have cool images for many popular email providers. The “custom” one is at the bottom. After it creates your image, copy the code from the image you like.
For example, it might look something like this:
Change the href="..." part of the link to say
(your email address goes there of course!)
OK, now we are going to encode the actual email link!
Visit http://hivelogic.com/enkoder/form and paste your emailicon code:
into the Advanced Form at the bottom of the page. (Of course, change the email address and image link to your own!) Press “Enkode It” and you will get a bunch of code that looks something like this:

(Don’t copy this! You need to make your own with your own email address!)
Open your html pages post-publishing and find EMAILGOESHERE and replace it with the code you got from the Enkoder site. Save your work!
When you view your page, it should look something like this:
Note: If you don’t want your email address visible anywhere on the page, and therefore don’t like the image we created at the beginning, you can also make email text links that looks something like this:
Just use the form at the top of the Enkoder page instead and again, do a find and replace for your EMAILGOESHERE text using the code generated from that form.
Remember, if you make a change to a page like this post-publishing, and later re-publish, you have to make the html changes again! Set up a Find/Replace command in MassReplaceIt and you can do this very quickly.
