Follow the steps on this page to complete the WebQuest. All links will open in new windows. When you are done with a link, close the window to return to the webquest.
First, choose a partner. You and your partner must agree on who will be researching Frogs and who will be researching Toads.
Look at these pictures of Florida Frogs and Toads together. Write down what you observe about Frogs or Toads.
You can print it out or work on it in Word.
You can use pictures or words to show what you have discovered.
Read together about Frogs and Toads and take some more notes. Pay special attention to the ways frogs and toads are alike.

After you are done finding out all you can about your amphibian, get together with your partner again. Discuss what you discovered. How are Frogs and Toads alike? How are they different?
Use your notes and your partner's notes to complete a Venn diagram together to show how Frogs and Toads are alike and different. The differences go on the left and right and the similarities go in the middle.
You can work on it in Word or print it and fill it in yourself.
You can use pictures or words to show what you have discovered.
Now look at all the information about your chosen amphibian. Use Word to write an expository paragraph explaining why you think Frogs or Toads are more interesting creatures. What makes each one unique? Use details from your Venn Diagram to help you explain yourself.
When you are finished, print your Venn diagram and your paragraph to turn in to your teacher!
