St. Rochus church was first mentioned in 1184. In 1756 the church, except for the tower, was pulled down and rebuilt.  It was expanded in 1865 like it is today.  It was repaired after the war, and renovations have continued, but the basic structure is what our ancestors knew when they came in 1846.
