X/O Studios

X/0 Studios
That’s pronounced Ex Zero or, in New Orleans parlance “No Dead Bodies”
The structure is considered by some to be the longest house in the Faubourg Marigny.  What it is, is two Circa 1860 buildings joined together in 1890.  The front two rooms were also added in 1890.  What we have now is thirteen rooms in a row.  And we’ve filled it with ART!

X/O Studios in the Marigny
X/0 Studios exists to provide venues for New Orleans Artists.  We are dedicated to breathing life into the severely battered historical cultural and natural landscape. Currently the studios are exhibiting 10 artists.

Damaged by the storm but not forgotten.
Purchased in February of 2007 after being vacant since Katrina.  After extensive demodeling of the plywood, sheetrock dropped ceilings, built in closets and other renovations made in the last 150 years the structures have been brought back to their original bones. X/0 Studios  opened it’s doors on December 1, 2007.
