After Mac OS Daily closed up shop, John came to know another notable author, John Farr, who was writing at Appleinks.com at the time. John Farr proposed to the editor/owner of Applelinks.com, Joe Ryan, that John M. carry on the tradition of "The Event Horizon." The new column was named "The Warp Core." John Farr designed the graphic logo for this series. We kicked off in February 1999.
