This was my childhood home; when my family moved in the house was 2 years old and I was 5.  It was a really great place to grow-up; alongside my sister and five brothers.  Now that everyone is living as independent adults my parents have moved on - selling the house to my family and we’ve decided to “keep it in the family,” for now at least.

Beginning in January 2007 we thought we should give the walls some fresh paint and recover the floors with new carpet.  Before you could blink we were off and running - home improvement projects are like potato chips, “you can’t quit with just one.”  It’s been a long and winding road but we’re just about finished and making plans to welcome lots of friends to come for a visit!

The experience we have had with our other home (http:www.vrbo.com/111452) has been so much fun.  We’ve had people visit from all over the country and some have come from outside the country as well.  We’re already booking reservations for this Winter and space is filling up fast.  Our guests have been so great, some of them are coming back again this year (a couple to this new house and a few to our first house).

The Winter season 2007-2008 will be the best one ever!

The walls don’t talk -

So I will instead. . .
