57 degrees fahrenheit
With temperatures up today I was excited to get back to the bridge. What a contrast to 27 degrees last week... but that’s the rocky mountains for you, this time of year.
This is the spot where Provo River splits around a willow covered sand bar and empties into Deer Creek reservoir. Just below my perch on the bridge, I watched fishermen in hip boots, working the river. I especially enjoyed observing a couple. who were fishing together. The man appeared to be coaching his woman fishing partner, who was a beginner. He was so enthused and she was so intense about trying. It was just a very pleasant, somewhat humorous interaction and I think they were having a great time together.
Midway through the sketch a wind came up and I found myself holding the umbrella with one hand and painting with the other.
