After talking about getting a new puppy for the past year, it finally has happened.  I got a new Yorkie for my birthday.  Her name is Samantha.  We picked her up from the breeder on Saturday, April 25th.  She was born February 3rd and is about 12 weeks old.  She currently weighs 28 ounces and will be approximately 4 1/2 pounds when she’s full grown.  We’re definitely learning how to do the “puppy shuffle” while walking through the house.  We did put a bell on Samantha’s collar so we could hear her around the house.  But, so far, she doesn’t leave our side very often.  We’ll add more pictures as we take them.  Be sure to check back soon!
