This page is about the influences that have brought me to where I am today. From the context of a battered landscape shaped by coal mines and steel mills in western Pennsylvania, to the sprawling growth of Atlanta, GA and now back to the Appalachian hills of southwestern Virginia, my views on sustainability and the rights and obligations of humans have continued to evolve.

 

One thing I’ve learned is that the best way to grow is through listening generously to (and reading generously) the perspectives and thoughts of others, particularly those you admire, respect, and resonate with.
