Today we took on the Florida Panthers.  The Panthers came into this game recovering from the Kings (18W-30L-7OTL,43P) 7-0 win over the Panthers.  The Panthers are in last place in the division with 50 points, and a 20-24-11 record.  The Avs came into this game riding a 2 game losing streak, With a record of 25-20-4 for a total of 54 points.  The Avs left the game with some much needed momentum and are now only 6 points behind the Wild. (Sorry, for the previous description, the Wild are in 3rd place, 1st Place Calgary has 65 points)The Avs have 1 more game in their unsuccessful 5 game homestand, after which they will go on the road for 15 (maybe 16) of their next 21 games.
