Establishing Experience Platforms for Global Design
 
Objectives:
 
Sharing SonicRim approach of helping future focused organizations that innovate for people from unfamiliar markets.
 
Who will benefit:
 
• If your current work involves designing for people you are less familiar with from your personal life experience.
 
• If you are involved in exporting a new technology or exploring a new market.
 
• If you are trying to catch up with emerging behaviors or market segments
 
• If you are a non-Indian company seeking to tap into the purchasing power of the Indian consumers, and want to explore what is the appropriate value proposition for the Indian marketplace.
 
Scope:
 
This workshop will be limited to 40 people only. Pre-registration is required. The workshop will provide demonstration of using experience platforms and frameworks for translating consumer insights into design opportunities. Registered participants will have to complete a scrapbook exercise, which could take about 2 hours of work over a one-week period.
 
Experience Platforms have been used in a variety of settings for multi-national and community based projects, for high tech- and low tech design projects, for corporate and not-for-profit clients.
