Educating for Design Leadership
This session will provide an opportunity to discuss how to prepare designers to assume a leadership role and what skills will be required to succeed in the challenges that beckon them in the face of emergence of design as a vital national and international resource. The discussions will also focus on the resources required for strengthening the quality of design education as the infrastructure for design education in India expands.
The highlight of the session would be address by industry representatives who have considered it necessary to invest in Design education. The session will also explore the opportunities for a collaboration between Design Schools and Industry with the goal of bringing vitality and innovation to various sectors of Indian and global economy.
