Ignacio heads Motorola’s UK, Singapore and India Design Centres and is responsible for Motorola’s industrial and interface design for Europe, Singapore and India.
Prior to joining Motorola, Ignacio was responsible for design teams at Sapient and IDEO and has created global design solutions for Xerox, Polaroid, Fila and IBM.
His work has been reviewed in leading design publications such as ID Magazine, Domus, Wallpaper and Creative Review and in books such as ‘IDEO; Masters of Innovation’ and ‘ON-OFF; New Appliance Design’.
Ignacio has received design awards including the IDSA Design Excellence Award, ID Interactive Media Awards and ID Magazine Awards. His work has been exhibited in Boston, London, and Hong Kong.
Ignacio studied design in Spain and the UK. He has tutored at leading art and design schools including the Rhode Island School of Design, the Massachusetts' Art Institute and the Art Institute of Boston. Ignacio is a member of the Advisory Board for the British Design Council.

This talk will look at the role that design should play within a company. How design can change the focus of a company from being technology driven to being user driven. How can we use design methodologies to drive innovation and transform, not just its products and services, but the company's brand.
