Breakout sessions offer the  audience the opportunity to select between four concurrent sessions: Ideas (new directions in design), Inspiration  (Motivational presentation),  Examples (Case Studies) and Experiences (Hands-on Workshops).

Design Entrepreneurs

If you can’t fight them, join them. For years designers have complained about the lack of appreciation for design amongst businesses. Instead of just complaining, some designers have taken the initiative of becoming entrepreneurs themselves and demonstrating that their own design sensitivities have helped build and grow a business and deliver value to their customers. During this session, some of the designer entrepreneurs will share their journey, outlining some of the challenges and opportunities they discovered along the way.
