Session 2.2: Inspiration
9:20 a.m.- 10:00 a.m.

Designing Across Borders

Torn between the client’s need to achieve economies of scale and consumers’ need for customized solutions, designers are increasingly faced with the challenge of helping their clients think global and act local. This session will help address the question, “how can designers help balance the global ambitions of manufacturers and marketers with consumers’ need for connection to their local realities?” The session will also showcase examples of working for international clients.
