Healing

It must have been around February, 2003 that I went on a search for a healing prayer that might serve me. I came upon this one by the Bahá'í Faith and it felt appropriate. I copied it, printed it, placed it about my house and work place and incorporated it into my daily life. There have been times that I have read it many times a day. It nourishes.

Each time I say it, either aloud or silently I hear it’s voice speak to my body, mind and Spirit. It offers me comfort and hope in the way it takes me on the journey of discovery as I ponder the riddle of the unspoken words.

I have shared it with many as the photo behind it has evolved to it’s present form, the sunrise over the southern end of the Cascades.

I share it with you now with all sincerity.
“Thy name is my healing, O my God, and remembrance of Thee is my remedy.
Nearness to Thee is my hope, and love for Thee is my companion.
Thy mercy to me is my healing and my succor in both this world and the world to come.
Thou, verily, art the All-Bountiful, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise. “
