March 1, 2006, I was just about to relax and do some stretching when I looked out the sliding glass doors in the bedroom facing east. Hypnotized and inspired by the blanket of clouds that danced across the valley sky from south to north I mounted my Sony DSC F717 on the tripod and let it run until the memory chip was full.

The original 22 minute clip has been condensed down to 1 minute in the hope of conveying what it was that I experienced.

 

The musical composition, Shark Attack Theme by Sven Libaek from The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou soundtrack has been modified in pitch. The accompanying audio track,Central Valley- Freshwater Marsh from the album Quiet Places: A Sound Walk Across Natural California mimics the sounds that I heard that morning.
