I have known David Zee for way too long. We frequently finish each other’s sentences during marathon phone calls. I have had the enjoyable job of mixing and mastering both his music for hire and his personal music. “Suitcase By The Door”, his most recent album has been “on hold” forever. “Johnna Knows” has always grabbed me. Maybe it’s because it’s a bad girl song, but I think it more about the way he weaves the story and sets the mood with his music.
