I can’t quite put my finger on what makes this feel so french to me (I’m open to suggestions!) but it does!  I haven’t spent much time in France...I’m more familiar with Italian style...but I’m really digging this look.  I think this would be such a beautiful wedding.  I love all the super delicate lines in the accouterments of the bride; the diaphanous gown and garden roses...I feel like this would be the look of Persephone herself; the embodiment of glorious, natural, feminine beauty.  Pushing the color pallet toward peach (rather than straight pink) and muting it a bit lends a depth and sophistication and keeps it from becoming overly saccharine; as does the very grown-up silhouette of the *amazing* gown and the truffle-studded cake.

All in all, this (if you can handle being married in anything other than white) is my very best interpretation of a soft and ultra feminine yet mad chic wedding.  I can get pretty lost in this board.

(venue: Chateau Elan---if you notice, I try to keep my venues local to highlight how amazing YOU’RE wedding could really be!; earrings: Vibe’s, at Fragments; headband: Lynn Kiracofe for Lara Hélène Bridal Atelier; flowers from Martha Stewart Weddings; gown: Emanuel Ungaro; cake: April Reed.)
