Hello, friends and fellow Travelers! I invite you to join me in these travel montage pieces, exploring both faraway places and the wonders of everyday life close to home and work.

Above, you’ll see my sister Laura and me, on our safari in Kenya in March 2007. In the photo, we are climbing the Kopjes, at Ol Donyo Wuas in the Chyulu Hills. The Kopjes are giant outcroppings of boulders. Behind us you will see a large candelaria tree, and below us is the flat plain that stretches for miles into Tanzania.

Laura’s husband Steve photographed the amazing fire rainbow over Masai Mara. It’s magical, as is the memory of our travel in Kenya.

For me, journeys are magical! They bring connections, dreams, visions, and a stretching of the soul. Here you’ll find my collection of travel hints, photos, favorite books and poems, sites and sights. And, regularly, updated information on courses, research, and scholarship will find its way into the podcasts, dialogues and blogs. Enjoy the conversation!
