PICK UP YOUR CRUMBS [V5] {V7} I almost didn’t include this problem in the guide as there is some terribly friable rock.  However, the movements are fun and the head game is incredible.  I don’t personally know of anyone having sent this problem all the way up the slab, though the Little Dome Driver’s Manual makes no mention of it being a project.  Start on the obvious decent crimp rail and move up and left to a juggy flake that flexes when yanked on and then commit to the head wall through the undercling & then slab.  Either have several pads & spotters or set up a toprope via the anchors up top.

LUNCH ROCK DIRECTS [V0-V2]   There are several excellent slab routes up the south face all of which ride up wondefully bomber nubbins & knobs.  Just passed the point of feeling completely comfortable off the deck, for those who aren’t ok w/ the idea of a potential 20ft slide/fall from the top, a convenient pair of anchors are placed up top for a toprope although getting up to the top can also be a harrowing experience if you’re not prepared for it.  Walk around to the west side of the lunch rocks boulder cluster, climb up the easiest portion of boulder and walk up the rear slab of Lunch Rock.  I recommend wearing climbing shoes.

CLOSE THE PICNIC BASKET [V1] {V3} Start sitting with one hand on a good edge.  After the initial difficulty of pulling onto the rock, grab the sidepull holds up and right and then grab the arete up and left.  The second crux starts at this point and ends once you grab the large rounded bulge on the arete.  Finish up the right side of the slab making up Lunch Rock Direct.

ANTS IN THE FOOD [V0+] {V2} Start the same as CLOSE THE PICNIC BASKET and then wander like an ant diagonally right across the face on large holds.  This climb tops out on the final moves of PICNIC IN THE PARK.  Initially relatively easy moves lead into a cruxy finish.  Protect yourself from the loan rock in the corridor with a pad & spotter.

PICNIC IN THE PARK [V1] {V3} This very overhanging problem climbs large face and lake holds.  The holds near the very top tend to get a little crumbly but will be fine if you just take your picnic meal after the climb.

THIS AINT NO PICNIC [V5]   Start sitting around the corner from the corridor on a large ramp / rail.  Climb up to just below the “roof” and then traverse out the wonderful crimps & sloper rail into PICNIC IN THE PARK.  Super good movements.  A nice complement to the easier surrounding problems and a great circuit problem.
