You know what Tubularsock loves about the 4th of July?
It’s all the cities and towns around the country spending hundreds of thousands of tax payer dollars to blow things up. Yeah. And you ask them why they do it, they tell you civic pride. It’s for the children, it’s for the families, it’s for the community.
On Monday morning they lay off the teachers, cut the libraries hours, close down the homeless shelter. Apparently these things just have to be done to keep the cities operating but blowing things up for the children builds civic pride? Hmmm.
Well Tubularsock has created a little picture show so your children don’t have to read too much and you can sit on your butt and have another beer at the Bar-B-Q!
