And what would we do with our

magazines and books

We have a “Family First” rule at Zinnia, if there is a Theatrical Performance, Piano Recital, Soccer Tournament, or Chicken Pox... any special event that can not be missed or an ailment that requires a “mom”or a "child".   We may have to close... but, we will do our best to post the time when we will return.  We will make every effort to be here during our regular hours.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please know that if any time you are on your way here and can’t make it before we close, please call, and if possible we will wait for you... That goes for the early risers too,you can call us the night before and we can try to be here earlier the next day.

Zinnia is an artist's store in South Pasadena. It's not an artist store in the sense that it has paint and brushes or clay or wood. It is simply a place to unlock your creativity and appreciate the creativity of others. A customer once asked me if this is what the inside of my brain looked like. Yes, I guess it is. And though it will be a challenge to re-create my actual store in these web pages, I will do my best.

People ask me all the time, "Where do you find all this stuff"? The answer is: everywhere. We shop thrift stores, flea markets, yard sales and friends' closets. That is why so many of the products we package at Zinnia are "one-of-a-kind".

Thank you for visiting. Tamara
