The Best Pizza in the World!
After we left Cape May, we stopped in Ocean City on the way back to Mt. Royal to have some of the best pizza in the world--Mack and Manco’s!! YUM!! It was so cold, we didn’t walk very far on the boardwalk. . .and David had hot chocolate along with his birch beer. But it was totally worth it!
Sean’s Vacation
We brought a stowaway home from New Jersey!
Sean came home with us for a little Florida vacation. He’s been enjoying time in the pool, hanging out with his cousins and just basically chilling.
You’ll see more pictures in my next update!
Cape May
There are people in our lives who are the hugest blessings. . .these are people who might not be related by blood or who might not be the closest blood relation but who have stuck close to us through some hard times. Among those are Aunt Peg and Uncle Stan.
My children count Aunt Peg and Uncle Stan’s Cape May home as among their favorite places in the world. This is a place where we can truly relax and let go of the stresses and tensions in life. Any time we spend there is special, treasured and precious.
We were able to visit Cape May for a few days on this trip. The weather wasn’t primo beach sunshine, but that’s okay; the temps and the rain were perfect for puzzles, reading, window shopping and visiting interesting sites.
The kids worked together to finish a puzzle. . .we walked on the beach (bundled up!). . we toured the Physick estate. . .we visited the Point. See more photos on the NJ Trip Photo Page.
And a HUGE thank you to Uncle Stan and Aunt Peg for sharing
Book’em, Greg-o.
The boys sweet-talked Greg into a visit to the police cruiser. We’re not sure who had the best time. . .David, Sean or the biggest kid, Greg. This was a scared straight moment, maybe??!!

Congrats, Greggy!
My cousin Greggy earned his BSN from the Thomas Jefferson University last month, and while we were in NJ, we celebrated this wonderful accomplishment! The party was a little wet, but we survived. . the company, the food and celebration made it worthwhile.
