Tradewind tours of hawaii

Tradewind Tours aims to provide exciting and educational tours focusing on the culture and history unique to the Hawaiian islands.  Each tour allows travelers to learn more about Hawaii’s important spiritual and cultural history and enjoy the wondrous geological environment that can only be found here on the islands.

For outer island tours, travelers will be shuttled from specified locations in Waikiki to the airport at Lagoon Drive.  They will then board a 8 seat P-31 Piper Chieftain and enjoy a scenic flight to the tour island where they will then join a tour of the location.  A gourmet lunch of local island foods and beverages will be provided with each outer island tour.  Once finished, travelers will be flown on a return flight to Oahu and then shuttled back to the specified Waikiki location.
For Oahu island tours, travelers are picked up at a designated Waikiki location and driven to the tour location. Once the tour is completed, travelers are returned to ther hotel locations. Local style snacks and beverages are provided for the island tours.

"The Kalaupapa tour was new to me and I learned a great deal about Hawaii's cultural history that isn't readily available.  The lives of Father Damien and his supporters provide a glimpse into the compassionate spirit of humanity.

The direct flight with Tradewind Tours made accessibility much easier than trying to book through an airline and attempt to find a sponsor to visit Kalaupapa.  And the geological beauty of the island of Molokai takes you back in time and refreshes your spirit."
