The Race was a short created for Just for Laughs 2004, The Director of the Montreal Show Jeremy Hechtman and the festival co-ordinator Brent Scheiess came up with the idea for this short.It was originally shown at Just for Laughs 2004 at The Montreal Show. Brent and I had asked Nicolas Macrozonaris if he would be interested in doing this seeing as the Olympics in Athens 2004 were just around the corner. To our surprise he said yes and Big Ang ,Nicolas,Jeremy and Myself went down to The Claude Robillard Center here in Montreal to shoot this little gem. It was cold and raining that day but that didn’t stop us from having a blast. Nicolas was a very good sport about the whole thing and my Brother was cracking us up as usually.A couple of hours later were we done shooting and then it was of to my studio for editing. This short had gotten the biggest response that night at the Montreal show and people were emailing us for months to get a copy. We finally ended up putting on our It’s All Greek To Me DVD as one of the Special Features.If you like The Race send me an email and tell me what you think.
