They say everyone has a story, well it is true and here is mine…. While walking through the rich pastures of land running along the Norwegian Fjords, I stumble upon a perfectly in tact dragonfly at my feet. Not knowing the significance of this moment, I gently pick it up and it makes its way back to my home in Denmark. I place it on the wall above my bed where unknowingly this “symbol” becomes morphed into who I am today. In the Danish language, the word goldsmith is the same word for dragonfly. Thus synonymous in both meanings…In Denmark my trade is literally called a “Dragonfly”! A few years later my journey as a Goldsmith begins (please read my Bio-“About Troels in this web site!) The dragonfly reappears many times from that moment to the present day. Like the Dragonfly wings, intricate, captivating, yet simply wings, my hope is my jewelry will radiate to you my love and passion for designing my one of a kind pieces!
