Dan Meyer, a teacher with the San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District, was honored with a 2008 Cable’s Leaders in Learning Award at a ceremony Wednesday, June 18th at the Library of Congress. Meyer is being honored for improving algebra instruction by creating and posting a video lesson for teachers online that was watched by other educators and downloaded more than 6,000 times in two weeks.
