Founder:
Tim Goodwin - A graduate of The King’s College, Goodwin was a member of the varsity basketball and baseball teams.
In 1992 he was hired as the varsity basketball coach at The Master’s School, West Simsbury, CT. Since then he has helped develop several college players including six NCAA division I athletes. Under Goodwin, The Master’s School has won 5 NECSAC titles, 4 CISAC titles and finished in the NEPSAC top ten for the past 7 years. He has amassed 240 career wins in 14 seasons.
He is the Executive Director of The Hartford Youth Scholars Foundation (hysf.org) and currently resides in Litchfield with his wife, Jennifer, and 3 children, Amaris, David, and Andrew.
Directors:
John Venditto - A graduate of The King’s College, Venditto was a member of the men’s basketball team for four years. He was a captain for two years, named to the All-Conference Team and participated in the NAIA National Tournament.
His collegiate coaching experience started out at his alma mater, The Kings College, where he was an assistant coach for a year. After a three year absence, he returned to the college level as an assistant coach at Manhattanville College for four seasons. Last year he was an assistant at Concordia College.
He is currently an assistant coach at Dominican College and a physical education teacher in the New York City Department of Education. He resides in Fishkill, NY with his wife Shannon.
Barbara Beebe - A graduate of Gordon College, MA., Beebe was a member of the women’s varsity basketball team for four years. She was team captain for two years, named All-Conference as a junior and senior and helped lead Gordon to the ECAC Regional Tournament for the first time in school history. Over her four year career she amassed 1,284 career points.
She is currently a Guidance Counselor at Torrington High School.
