In commemoration of the bicentennial celebration of the United States, a cycling route was mapped across the country in 1976.  Crossing ten states, the route became known as the Transamerica Trail.  Since that time, thousands of cyclists have made the journey from Yorktown, Virginia to Astoria, Oregon.  This summer, so shall we.

We are Eric, Andrea, and Joann, who make our journey by bicycle (Andrea and Eric) and RV (Joann) across the hollows of Appalachia, plains of the Midwest, and Rocky Mountains of the far West.
