Is Styrofoam® to biodiesel Possible?

The TP1000 Styrofoam Recycling machine from TPI essentially melts polystyrene to form a dense block of material that is reduced in volume by over 95% of the original material.  So a 2.5 cubic meter load of polystyrene comes out of the machine as a small block approximately 90cm x 25cm x 5cm. The block can be stored then sold to recycling companies who then turn it into new products such as garden furniture.  The R&D people tell us that fuels such as green diesel are just around the corner.

The densified blocks are sterile, odorless, easy to handle and can be stored indefinitely.  Several loads can be put through the machine over time until sufficient quantities have been produced for either sale or disposal.  There is no need to wash the styro before placing it into the machine.  Impurities such as blood, food, glass, dirt, metal and other contaminates do not effect the operation of the machine.  The output is always sterile.

Attachments can be added such as shredders and conveyers making the the TP Machine customizable to suit the needs of your industry.  Hospital waste is easily handled by the TP Machine.  Biohazards are handled and eliminated.  Save money every time you use it.  The TP Machines are ideal for stadiums, amusement parks, arenas, highrises, malls, theaters, apartment communities and more.

Throwing away money

Stryrofoam® also known as polystyrene or sometimes as EPS was invented in 1954.  It is waterproof, lightweight, a great insulator, resists crushing, and virtually indestructible.  Stryrofoam® can be found in infant car seats, helmets, and many other safety features.  Stryrofoam® is awfully convenient for fast food carry out and that hot cup of morning coffee.  According to some estimates, EPS makes up over 25% of all the waste in American landfills by volume.  But EPS has proven to be one of the lightest and least costly forms of packaging and food service material.  Coastal cities are imposing legislation to ban the use of Polystyrene in take-out restaurants, increasing costs and paper use as well as, enforcement challenges. We believe that we have a better alternative to bans.  The TP Machines save money, save trees and can provide fodder for recycling and fuel.

Reduce your EPS waste by 95% by using the TP Machine.  Spend less or nothing on waste disposal.  And operating the TP Machine couldn’t be easier.  Load the machine and when it is full, press the button.  It runs virtually silent.
