The TPX waste processor is designed to dramatically reduce the volume of plastic and general waste to produce a compact and sanitized block that can be safely stored, processed or disposed.

The unique design concept utilizes both heat and pressure to transform feedstock with a large plastic content into a dense, extruded sterilized plug. The principal of the machine operation is simple: 

1. 1.  Waste is introduced into a hopper.
   

2. 2.  A powerful screw compacter crushes the material into a melt chamber.
   

3. 3.  The plastic content of the material is plasticized at a temperature high enough to sanitize but significantly below the carbonization temperature of a material.
   

4. 4.  The end product is no longer trash but a valuable resource that can be sold to other recyclers or made into other products.
   

The machine is very versatile and can be operated in a hot or cold mode. The machine can be used in a cold mode to densify cardboard, de-water general waste or simply as an extremely efficient can crusher.  Used simply as a crusher, the TPX extends the life of landfills. The machine can be supplied with a variety of optional extras including shredders, conveyor feeds, safety gates/fencing, barrow lifts etc.

The TPX achieves up to 6 times greater compaction rate than conventional mechanical compactors!
