Thomas Blackman Associates (TBA) has the largest, finest and widest variety of exhibitions panels and lighting equipment available in the North America. Our high quality walls have been used in major expositions all over the United States. Some of the fairs that have utilized our equipment in the past are Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Chicago, San Francisco International Art Exposition, NADA Art Fair, Art Miami, Art LA, Photo Miami and AIPAD Miami. The walls and lights have also been used for a variety of Arts and Antiques Shows around the country.
The TBA inventory contains 8-foot, 10-foot and 12-foot high walls. The panels are made with 3/8-inch plywood skins on a wood frames. The walls arrive on site painted and ready for installation. We recommend taping and painting the seams. The walls are shipped on pallets and shrink-wrapped for travel. While the walls are arguably the most beautiful available anywhere, they are very strong and able meet the demands of your exhibitors. A wide variety of hanging devices can be used effectively on the walls from traditional hangers to drywall screws.
The panels are available in 4-foot, 2-foot and 1-foot widths. We also have doors available for exhibitors that would like to have a secure storage facility in their booths. All rentals come with all of the necessary connection devices. Additional materials for use on site such as seam-tape, paint, plastic etc. are available upon request.
TBA also has an extensive lighting and power distribution system that is designed to give an exhibition gallery-quality lighting efficiently and at a cost effective price. The primary components are 300 watt halogen wall-washers and 90-watt spots and flood lights. They are used in tracks that are pre-installed in 11-inch aluminum truss with a 30 amp/3-phase power distribution system that can be adapted to a number of power sources. The truss is able to span up to 40 feet without additional support. The lighting system usually sits on top of walls but it can also be suspended from above with aircraft cables. We have a thousands of feet of truss and thousands of fixtures, as well.
